Maine Turf Company is located in Fryeburg, Maine on the New Hampshire border near North Conway, New Hampshire. We are a family owned farming operation since 1976 run by Doug Albert Sr., Doug Albert Jr. is the sixth generation farmer in our family. We grow and sell top-quality turfgrass to our local customers within a 100 mile radius of Fryeburg. In addition to operating Maine Turf Company, owner Doug Albert Sr. is an adjunct professor in the Horticulture Department at Southern Maine Community College where he teaches a course in turfgrass management. Doug Jr. is taking over daily operations in 2019 and Doug Sr. remain on the farm, assisting when needed.
