About
Sod by Sherry was established in 1983 by my late grandfather; Virdin Royse, my father; Dan Sherry, and myself, Brad Sherry. Dan left the FAA in 1980 to start Sherry Enterprises Inc., which specialized in mowing and lawn maintenance of several housing additions in the Oklahoma City area. Through the years, this business required occasional sod purchases. The quality of sod that was purchased was not as good as the jobs required. Dan Sherry partnered with the late Oklahoman cattleman Virdin Royse to start Sod by Sherry.
